Ms. Rita Aggarwal is a Consulting Psychologist at Nagpur and also a human resource development (HRD) trainer She visits educational institutes,industry and businesses for various
training programmes.
As Nagpur’s first private practitioner in psychology, Ms. Aggarwal runs a popular weekly column "EMOTIONS" in Central India’s leading English daily The Hitavada. She answers
questions from readers on their psychological and personal problems. She also writes two fortnightly columns- one in ‘Women’s World’ named ‘PERSONA’, and another colum n in
‘Future’ called ‘WORK BEHAVIOUR’ .Since last 20 years she has been conducting Personality Development Programmes for school and college students regularly.
Ms. Aggarwal was Coordinator of Nagpur’s Chaitanya Drug De-Addiction Centre, the first of its kind in Central India. Before that, she worked on several research projects in
psychology and was associated with various social work projects and institutions for many years in Varanasi, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Mumbai and Nagpur. Thus, she has a long work
experience in psychological thought and practice.
Her organisation named ‘MANODAYA’ ran a free of cost vocational training programme for school drop-outs in Nagpur, in association with ‘Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd, Mumbai
for a few years.
Farida Raj
Remedial Educator
Mrs.Farida Raj is a remedial educator, registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She has a degree in “Special Education”from Mumbai University. She is an
experienced in service teacher, having taught at various schools run by the Spastic Society of UK and has also worked with the children with cerebral palsy at Spastic society of
India, Mumbai. At present she is the Director of the“ Centre for Special Education ( CSE )”, Secunderabad, where she conducts assessments and provides remedial instructions to
children with specific learning disabilities.
Over the years she has been a regular columnist in popular English and Urdu newspapers. “The Deccan Chronicle”, “The Hindu”, “The Indian Express ”and “Siasat”, particularly
focusing on women empowerment and perenting issues and addressing topics such as SLD, ADHD, Autism and slow learners.
In addition she is a visiting lecturer at EFLU, NIMH, IGNOU, MANUU, UGC Academic Staff college,SCERT and various other teacher training colleges in the twin cities.
Farida Raj has authored two books in Urdu,“ Hum Aur Hamari Sehat ” and“ Zaviye Zindagi Ke”, a collection of her numerous articles.
